PROTOTYPE AMPHORA FOR OLIVE OIL STORAGE

Master sculptor Ivan Kapičić created unique replicas of traditional amphorae for olive oil storage for the House of Olives – inspired by the ancient Mediterranean tradition.

Handcrafted using casting techniques, these amphorae represent a fusion of artisanal precision and artistic expression. Each piece is made through a detailed process that includes modeling, mold creation, clay casting, drying, sanding, firing, and a final three-layer patination. The finishing touch is a handmade wire stand, carefully adapted to the shape of each amphora.
