Odiva is a story about love, about harmony between modern development and traditional values in olive growth and production. With great dedication, the company takes care of 13,000 olive trees in the lower reaches of the Morača River. Expanding olive cultivation to the continental area of Montenegro, Odiva shows the readiness to take over the primacy of modern olive cultivation from the coastal area producers.
Odiva oil is a multi-varietal extra-virgin olive oil obtained by harvesting olives at the optimal time. It combines the peculiarities of the Koroneiki variety, the Greek queen of olives, and the fantastic Spanish Arbosana and Arbequina varieties. Odiva bland carries the aromas of freshly cut grass and nuts. The oil is packed in the most modern glass container, which protects the product from the influences of the external environment that lead to chemical and organoleptic changes.
In Montenegro, a newly wed woman (i.e. “odiva”) is traditionally cared for with special emotion, and, upon marriage, the bride is presented with gold in her new home. Odiva brand strives to justify its name by guarantying the best quality of liquid gold that is olive oil. It nurtures the traditional Montenegrin values shared by the House of Olives’ mission and vision.
