Katunjanka is run by the Vukotić family who opted for the production of a type of cheese known in the Podlovćen region since ancient times. Its production represents a symbiosis of tradition and modern technology. The production plant meets all the necessary standards and has a HACCP certificate. The quality of the products is also evidenced by the fact that Katunjanka is a holder of the exceptional “Good from Montenegro” seal, awarded by the Chamber of Commerce. The company started with daily processing of 100 liters in a modest production plant in the region of Čevo but it soon transformed into a major factory showing that the traditional cheese production has a future. The cheese is produced in an environmentally untouched part of Montenegro.

The rich taste, pleasant smell and excellent quality of Katunjanka wins you over at the first bite. Apart from being an indispensable part of the traditional meze, these cheeses are a perfect complement to any meal. They pair well with Montenegrin wines, and are a wonderful gift in itself.
