The Miranović family from the fertile Zeta village of Balabani enrich the House of Olives with the most valuable culinary products. Guided by the skillful hands of the chef and housewife Ivona, the Miranović household is engaged in the cultivation and processing of various types of fruit. A handful of various products come to us from Ivona’s kitchen: rose, cherry, apricot and strawberry liqueurs, apple, pear, cherry, strawberry, and raspberry jams, as well as jams with added white chocolate, reserved for true gourmets.
Especially for the House of Olives, the Miranović household prepares a real Italian specialty – dried tomatoes in olive oil with basil. You can also enjoy the aromas of the harmonious red wine „Perjanik“, whose name evokes the tradition and strenght (the term „perjanik“ stands for a royal Montenegrin guardian).
We also recommend visiting the household Miranović in the village of Balabane, to enjoy the beauty of their orchards and vineyards, and see their Amrock chickens, who have a real house on wheels and are in charge of making compost for fertilizing the orchards. There you can also enjoy a cruise on the Lake Skadar and visit the Gostiljska river. Your stay will be enriched with tastes of the famous Zeta priganice, meze, and sponge cake.
