The Buturović family from the city of Nikšić is recognized all over Montenegro for its excellent young goat cheese, whey and sweet milk. However, the real specialty of this farm is a dry goat cheese made from olive oil, prepared according to a traditional recipe involving drying the cheese for fifteen to twenty days.
The dedicated work of the household Buturović and the little secrets of the housekeeper Slađana result in top quality products. Their goats are fed with alfalfa, oats and rye, with free intake of over a hundred different plant species, making them the healthiest examples of domestic animals in Montenegro.
