BARSKO ZLATO

An indispensable part of the Olive Shop is the laureate of the XXI Olive Festival – the extra-virgin olive oil Barsko zlato, a product of Barska uljara, the largest olive oil factory in Montenegro. Its moto is “For a long and healthy life”.

Equipped with modern Italian machines, Barska uljara uses mechanical processing methods, a cold centrifugation extraction. Being a sustainable and eco-friendly company, Barska uljara generates a new product from the production waste – pellets for heating. In addition to secondary production, Barska uljara takes care of app. 3,200 olive trees of the domestic, autochthonous variety Žutica.

Barsko zlato olive oil is an official gift of the Municipality of Bar during diplomatic visits. Barska uljara is the general sponsor of the Basketball team “Mornar” from Bar, a symbol of the city. The general distributor of Barsko zlato is VOLI, the largest retail chain in the country.

In the Olive Shop, you will find Barsko zlato extra-virgin olive oil, along with its various varieties in luxurious packaging, as well as the olive oil mixed with St. John’s wort. Premium olive oil Golden Barsko zlato, made from hand harvested olives, is displayed on the central shelf in the Gastro shop, together with Barsko zlato Limited Edition, packed in a handmade wooden box made from pruned olive branches.

Barsko zlato won awards in United States, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, and Montenegro. It is a proud bearer of the Dobro iz Crne Gore trademark, which is awarded by the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro for top quality products that nurture the traditional values ​​of Montenegrin agriculture in an innovative manner.
