Metović Olive Mill, also known as MDS Company d.o.o. Bar, is located in the natural surroundings of Old Bar, between historic olive groves called Džidžarin (over a thousand years old) and the Old Town of Bar, near the Kajnak spring by the Bunar River.
This mill uses a combination of traditional and modern methods to process the indigenous “Barska žutica” variety. Their offer includes various products, including extra virgin olive oil, as well as oils infused with rosemary and St. John’s wort.
At the prestigious Noćnjak 2024 event in Zadar, Metović Olive Mill won a gold medal for the packaging quality of extra virgin olive oil made from the žutica variety.
